[..] Loch Duart is an independent Scottish business based in Sutherland and the Outer Hebrides founded in 1999. Loch Duart has grown steadily over the years and now farms at several small sites producing roughly 5000 tonnes of extraordinary Scottish salmon a year employing 115 staff. Loch Duart rear their salmon to the highest standards with husbandry, fish welfare and environmental responsibility at the heart of farming operations. All farms are accredited by GLOBALG.A.P, ISO 14001, RSPCA Assured, Label Rouge and Code of Good Practice, and are recognised as regional Scottish produce under Protected Geographical Indication. Loch Duart has a unique branded feed, as close to a wild salmon’s as possible,that contains extremely high levels of marine content which in turn confers superior levels of Omega-3 that are highly beneficial to human nutrition.
